This sister duo brings light to any and all experiences. Bek + Em have dedicated time to partnering with local woman owned businesses in their community and spreading their creativity throughout the MD, PA, and the DC areas. Since they were little they have always loved all things design and creativity, so what better way to share that love than creating beautiful experiences for people through Poppi.
Bek and Em are the founders of Poppi Company. These two sisters were born and raised in Maryland where they still reside together. The company started as a luxury picnic experience in the heart of the pandemic and has now blossomed into wedding planning.

Courtney is based on the east coast and Makenzi now considers herself a west coast wedding photographer. Their styles are different but their goal is the same--to document love stories in a unique yet timeless way. Courtney’s style is classic with true to life colors and effortless posing. Makenzi’s work contrasts hers in a fun and distinctive way that is warmer and more playful. They both aim for a documentary style while capturing wedding days and of course, deliver images that will remain in style for years to come! They are excited to teach you all they know about photography–digital, film, posing, and more!
Courtney and Makenzi are sisters, 7 years apart but you'd never know. They're best friends and have spent countless weekends tag teaming wedding days, while each running their own photography businesses.

The Sister Shop
The mansion’s one-of-a-kind architecture features elegant old stone facades, original custom mill-work, winding victorian-era staircases and so much more! Sitting on 22 aces of lush gardens, the grounds at the Willows are the perfect setting for a sailcloth tent and a cozy, timeless fall wedding workshop and editorial.
our workshop on october 8, 2024 will be a full styled wedding held at the willows at ashcombe mansion in mechanicsburg, PA.
Imagine a fall wedding that feels effortlessly magical, set up under a sailcloth tent with a jaw dropping entrance adorned with whimsical florals created by the incredible Wild Indigo. The space will be decked out in playful greenery—think cascading vines and dreamy leaves—that perfectly complement the warm, golden tones of autumn. As the soft light filters through the tent, it creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere that captures the charm of the season. It’s a perfect blend of laid-back elegance and seasonal beauty, making the day feel both timeless and delightfully charming.
Our one day only workshop will be complete with bride and groom portraits, beautiful flat lays, a ceremony overflowing with florals, a cocktail hour and reception scene. We’re bringing in the best vendors, multiple outfits, incredible florals, tasty cocktails, a custom bar and more incredible details that will surely take your portfolio to the next level.

What's the investment?
A $500 deposit will be due to reserve your spot. Your seat will be non-refundable. The workshop will be an intimate group with only a handful of attendees. The cost includes the entire day of learning, networking, editorials, and food!
